Another thrifty idea....

...that I came up with all by myself! I am breastfeeding Baby S so I have been trying to pump and get a stash of milk for my MIL to feed him while I am at work. I was looking for something that wouldn't take up much room in the freezer for me to store it in. Well one of the Huggies wipes containers that I have is a perfect fit. The bags of milk once frozen flat can be stacked in there like cards and the wipe container doesn't take up much space.

Batty, you commented on using vinegar in the dishwasher; I read that too. I didn't think to include that because I don't currently have a dishwasher except for my own two hands. I would love to have a dishwasher in the next place that we live, but yes you can substitute vinegar for the Jet Dry as your rinse aid in the dishwasher. There is a website actually dedicated for the uses of vinegar that you can find here.

Another fabric softener recipe can be found here for vinegar and baking soda.

Well I intend to cast on my Traveling Woman shawl today since I am trying to wean myself into having days without Baby S. He's with my MIL and SIL today hopefully I can make it through the day so my husband can pick him up this afternoon. Yesterday wasn't so successful; I dropped him off at 9:30 am and only made it until about 2:30 pm. Boy was that hard. I know I won't have a choice come next week though.

1. I am thankful for wonderful in laws.
2. I am thankful for a few hours to myself.
3. I am thankful for the very LONG shower I was able to take this morning.

Awesome, will check out that site. I usually just skip the rinse completely, but vinegar is way cheaper than JetDry for the times I do want something.
And you can use it to bake stuff. Mmmmm, baked goods.
