If all lace were this easy.....

I wanted to make something different this weekend while I was waiting for the laundry to wash/dry. So I dug out my skein of Alchemy Lone Star that I received from participating in Ms. Criquette's blog contest last year and casted on the Sofia Cowl from 101 One Skein Wonders...
Its a nice project to knit and a great starter lace project considering its only a repeat of 2 rows.

Thomas snoozed most of the day next to me on the electric throw.

That is when he wasn't snoozing in my shoes...

I was able to get a pair of mittens up to 85% completion. I need to decrease the top of one and get thumbs on both of them. Then start another pair --- I am going to try to have at least 6 pairs (if not more) done by April to send to Russia.

Three Thankfuls:
  1. I am thankful for getting over my head cold so quickly.
  2. I am thankful for my wonderful husband.
  3. I am thankful for the good night of sleep I had last night.

Beautiful lace project. I am in the middle of the Swallowtail shawl, I hate lace, I wish I had never started it. I would have frogged it and given up a long time ago, but it's grudge knitting at this point. I am determined to finish it.
